New attack of the Islamic state

On March 5 there was a new attack of the Islamic State, the latest attack was the destruction of the figures of the Museum of Civilization in Mosul, Iraq. This museum relics date from the eighth century BC and seventh century BC. This time they have destroyed the ancient city of Hatra, located 110km from Mosul. This city has an age of about 2000 years, was also the capital of the ancient Kingdom Childbirth.

According to the director of former assets of the University, is an incalculable loss. UNESCO called it the world's heritage.

The reason whereby the Islamic State destroys the former Iraqi city is part of a systematic campaign to wipe archaeological sites that says, promoting apostasy. Apostasy is denial, resignation or renunciation of faith in a religion.
